Short-term trips
Keith and Kathy Ham work with supporting partner churches to arrange short-term trips for members who want to provide hands-on help and encouragement to the urban poor. Visitors will accompany Community Health Evangelists on their visits in the slums and pray, share their faith and spiritual journey, dress wounds, feed families, train family members or a neighbor in a physical or spiritual topic, and build relationships. Options for many other programs and activities are available, based on the interests and talents of the group.

College students may be interested in CMF’s summer internship program, REACH, which will focus on AIDS work in four areas in Africa: Nairobi, Kenya, Maasailand, Kenya, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and Abengourou, Ivory Coast. The program runs from May 28 through August 2, 2008.
